Little Piglet urgently needs our help!

Teckels is asking for help with funding a lifesaving operation for Piglet the French bulldog.

Piglet arrived at Teckels two weeks ago with a breathing problem, and it quickly became apparent she needed veterinary help. She has just had an operation to widen her nostrils and some minor surgery to her throat, but she sadly has stage 2 Laryngeal collapse. This will require her to be referred to a specialist centre and could cost up to £3000.

Why choose Teckels?

Care you can trust

Teckels is proud to be a member of LiKCA (Licensed Kennels & Cattery Association) –

When you leave your cat or dog it is important for you to know they are in safe hands and that they are going to be happy while you are away. At Teckels our primary concern is the welfare of the animals in our care.

Not only do we really care about what we do, we are also highly qualified in animal welfare and behaviour. As well as looking after our boarding visitors we also rescue and rehabilitate over 120 dogs and 250 cats each year in order to find them new homes.

Due to our experience and training we are able to recognise if an animal is unhappy, stressed or feeling unwell and we know what to do in these situations. We will make sure that your dog or cat enjoys their stay with us and you can trust in Teckels to keep them safe, healthy and happy.

Each day we feed, exercise and spend time with the animals in our care, also ensuring that they have clean accommodation, bedding and toys. Teckels is staffed 24-hours a day, with a senior employee living onsite, and our team is hard at work from 6am to 8pm every day.

Our competitive daily charges apply for the duration of the stay, including the day of arrival and day of departure, so that you don’t have to worry if you are running late for drop off or collection. There are no hidden extras and our price is the same whatever type or size of cat or dog you have. We cater for all dietary requirements and we are trained to administer medicine which we are happy to do at no extra cost.

At Teckels we are passionate about animals and our boarding is non-profit. Any leftover money goes straight to our rescue and rehoming centre to help those animals who don’t have a home of their own, so by choosing Teckels you are directly helping to give other animals a better life.
