This week we were very excited to welcome Margaret Hulme, Grants Manager at Battersea to formally open our new kitten room, which was part funded by a Battersea grant. Angela Dakin, Teckels Trustee said ‘This facility is so important to us during kitten season as it enables mothers to birth in a quiet, specially adapted facility away from the main cattery, giving kittens the best chance of a healthy future. We are also able to accommodate up to 4 families in this facility, which means we can take in more cats for rehoming in the main cattery. We are so grateful to Battersea for this funding’. We were also so pleased to see our regular supporter @Miss Gloucester 2018/19- Tamsin Grainger who came along to help us celebrate, with our Cattery Lead Holly. 🐾
We still have lots of hungry little mouths to feed, but are running out of wet kitten pouches. If anyone has any going spare or if you'd like to donate some to us, we'd greatly appreciate it 🐾 thank you 🐾 P. S these kittens have homes waiting, but we will have more ready to adopt very soon...
