Cats for rehoming

Give a cat a loving home

Due to the high number of cats that arrive at Teckels and are subsequently rehomed we do not publish all their details here on our web site. If you are interested in rehoming a cat please call us on 01452 740300 between 9am and 4pm. Please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Kittens

We always have a huge demand for kittens and do not operate a waiting list. To adopt a kitten, you will firstly be asked to visit the kitten at Teckels. If you wish to proceed with an adoption you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £20. At nine weeks of age the kitten is ready to leave Teckels and you will be able to take him/her home.

Please note, as part of the adoption process, you will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with Teckels and adhere to our adoption policy terms. We would like to highlight that it is mandatory for all Teckels adopted kittens to be neutered when they reach the appropriate age and we will provide you with a neuter voucher to cover this expense. If contract terms are not adhered to, Teckels reserves the right to remove the cat from your care. Home checks are carried out as appropriate. Neutering is the only effective way to reduce the number of unwanted cats in the UK.

Rehoming information

We ask for an adoption fee of £80 for a cat or kitten. This includes:

Any extra donation towards their care while they are still at Teckels would be HUGELY appreciated, thank you.

Please don't forget to buy your associated pet products from our shop. Every little helps towards the ongoing care of our animals.
