Our primary concern is that your cat is safe, healthy and happy while staying with us. We provide great boarding facilities and a high level of care from our experienced and qualified team. Our prices are below and apply for the duration of the stay, including the entire day of both arrival and departure. Bank holidays charges apply for Christmas eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New years eve and New Year bookings – please enquire for further details.
Please note that all cats must be up to date with vaccinations before they stay with us. Thank you for understanding.
Our daily charge includes:
- food (prescription diets to be supplied by owner)
- heated pen with large play area (choice of single or double)
- daily health check
- lots of toys
- administering medication (tablets/injections)
- heaters and heat pads during cold weather (whatever time of year)
- lots of cuddles!

Deposits: We require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is equal to the cost of an overnight stay at Teckels for the cat/cats boarding with us. All deposits are non-transferable to any amended dates.

Supplement for short bookings during peak periods
We are happy to offer short bookings for the convenience of our customers, however from December 2017 we will be introducing a supplement for bookings of four days or less during peak times (Easter and school summer holidays). Some local catteries will only take 7-day bookings during these busy periods but instead we will continue to offer short bookings with the following supplements:
£12 for 3 days or less
Teckels is non-profit and any leftover money from our boarding services is used to help the animals in our rescue and rehoming centre. A recent increase in short bookings has meant that we have had to turn down longer bookings leaving some pens empty mid-week during our busiest periods. By introducing a supplement for these peak times we are able to continue offering short bookings while still providing our homeless animals as much support as we possibly can.
