8 year old Bulldog cross
Bubba came to us through fault of his own and would love a home to call his own.
Being an older boy, he can’t quite manage the long walks that he would like to go on, but does enjoy a good short plod through the local lanes here. He can pull a bit on the lead, so isn’t suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet, but can’t manage long walks either.
Bubba can find it hard to settle, so will need a family who are happy to teach him how to be calm. (bit of a bulldog in a china shop!) We are beginning to show him how to enjoy being in a crate, which we’d like his new family to continue, just so he can have some quiet time with chews in his ‘den’ and give his old legs a rest. Once he knows you he loves a good tummy rub and neck scratch!
Bubba has had to have some lumps removed which are low grade tumors, and is healing well from his surgery. He also has an old injury to his tail, and his joints are a bit arthritic, but he is managing with some pain relief which goes in his food. Bub would love a family who will spoil him and give him the life he deserves.
Bubba wouldn’t be able to live with other pets or young children. But can have walking pals when settled in.
At times he can be a bit of an old cantankerous bulldog, but he really is a loving squidgy boy. He’s a firm favorite with the staff and we’re sure will make a fabulous companion in the right home.
