9 year old (approx), male spaniel
Bobby is a sensitive soul who came to Teckels due to his owners ill-health. He is obviously missing his family, but enjoys cuddles on the sofa with the staff here.
Even though he’s an older boy, he’s still very active. He can be strong on the lead so will need some further training, but likes his treats so this should help. But he LOVES to play fetch! He can be a bit reluctant to give toys/balls up, so we can advise on how to work with him on this.
Bobby is easily worried by new things and really likes to have a routine, he will need a calm and quiet (but active) home with minimal visitors, so he can find his feet in his own time and really settle in with his forever family.
Bobby is very nervous around other dogs and will actively avoid them on off-lead. He would prefer quieter areas to walk/live in until his confidence has been built up. This will also mean he needs to be the only pet in the home.
Bobby already knows some basic obedience and is housetrained. He will require regular grooming.
Bob is a lovely dog who just needs lots of love and patience. He should quickly settle into a new home once given space and reassurance, all he needs is the right family to find him and offer him that much deserved chance.
