5 year old GSD cross
It sadly didn’t work out with Wez’s new family, so he’s now back at the centre and looking for his forever home.
Wez is a cheeky, food orientated, lovable mutt, who has really melted all of the staffs hearts here at the shelter.
He’s looking for a family who are used to larger breed dogs, as when he gets excited he can jump up and throw his weight around! He loves food, and is great fun to train.
He already knows some basics, so it’s a case of taking things that step further, but also showing him how to share and offer him his own quiet space in the house where he can retreat to when he’s overwhelmed. Wez will also need a house training refresher.
Wens would prefer a home as an only dog, but has various walking pals here, which we know he would love to have again once settled into his new home. He is not keen on cats.
He’s affectionate with his carers and loves to give us morning bear hugs. But can be unsure in some situations, so will need to live in an adult only home.
He can be left for short periods, but would prefer to be out and about with you. Owners will also need to be prepared to monitor and keep on top of a mild skin condition which he is having twice weekly foot baths for.
